3月5-10日，亚林所森林健康与保护研究组刘剑博士参加了在泰国清迈举行的Global Conference on Entomology，并代表课题组做大会主题报告“IPM of bamboo sprout wireworm in Southern China”以及专题报告“Mud-puddling by insects: from an entomological curiosity to a novel pest management tactic”。报告得到了与会专家的认可和较好的评价，通过与专家们的交流也得到了很多建议，在科研的思路上获得了不少启发。
