Chen Xingliang

Prof. Chen Xingliang, Ph.D. supervisor, Member of the 9th and 10th Committees of the China Association for Science and Technology, Deputy Director General of the Chinese Society of Forestry, Director of the Understory Economy Branch of Chinese Society of Forestry, Member of the Steering Committee of Forestry Professional Degree Teaching of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Deputy Director of the Expert Committee for the Development of College/Institute Teaching Materials, Deputy Director of the China Forest Certification Council and Chief Expert in decision-making consulting of China Association for Science and Technology.


Prof. Chen Xinliang has mainly engaged in the following research fields: forest resources and environment, forest ecological economy, agroforestry management, understory economy, etc. He took a leading role in a number of national key research projects and major industry scientific research projects; and won the Second Prize (three times) of the Award for Progress in Science and Technology Award at provincial and ministerial levels. Prof. Chen Xinliang has published more than 80 academic papers and 10 books. He has engaged in drafting a number of national forestry plans and key national forestry policy documents.
