CAF's participation in this exhibition demonstrated its strong scientific research strength and outstanding achievements to international peers, further broadened and deepened its international cooperation network in forestry research, and achieved remarkable outcomes.

The 26th World Congress of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) took place in Stockholm, Sweden from June 23-29, 2024. CAF participated in the exhibition at the World Congress. Through posters, displaying forest products and books, distributing flyers and playing videos at CAF's booth, the positioning, organizational structure, research fields and major scientific and technological achievements of CAF have been shared in a multi-level and comprehensive way.
Since the opening, CAF's booth has received extensive attention from representatives of various countries. During the exhibition, the President of IUFRO, Ms. Daniela Kleinschmit, Executive Director Mr. Alexander Buck and Deputy Executive Director Mr. Andre Purret, and the Chair of the Organizing Committee of the 26th IUFRO World Congress, Mr. Fredrik Ingemarson, and more than 400 leaders and experts and scholars from over100 institutions such as the International Tropical Timber Organization, the African Forest Forum, the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, and Michigan State University in the United States, visited CAF's booth and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with relevant experts from CAF on cooperation in hot research areas such as sustainable forest management, forest landscape restoration, forest chemical industry, wood identification, clean raw material pulping and papermaking, and forestry policy. The exhibits such as the book: Identification Atlas of Endangered Woods Common in Trade, portable wood automatic identification equipment, laser wood, flame retardant plywood, and reed particleboard have attracted great attention.
CAF's participation in this exhibition demonstrated its strong scientific research strength and outstanding achievements to international peers, further broadened and deepened its international cooperation network in forestry research, and achieved remarkable outcomes. CAF's booth not only became a meeting point for forestry scholars both at home and abroad, but also a frontline of promoting international cooperation in forestry research between North and South as well as South and South. More than 100 scholars from different countries left their contact information to seek future cooperation opportunities.
