Brief Introduction:

The project is mainly proposed to address the challenges facing the wildlife protection oriented protected areas in China, such as the gaps between the protection policy implementation and the wildlife protection goals, the ineffective protection, etc. The project will determine the challenges and problems in the policies and the management of wildlife protection in protected areas by evaluating their protection policy implementation and protection effectiveness, and thus put forward a policy mechanism for coordinated development among nature protection, wildlife protection and community poverty reduction, which is aimed at providing policy recommendations for improving protected area management, increasing wildlife protection effects, and enhancing the ecological protection in protected areas.
