Main work
Since his current job, Prof. Zeng Mansheng have been engaged in research, promotion, and comprehensive management of forestry technology.
As the overall project and technical leader, Prof. Zeng Mansheng has been in charge of the operation and management of the "North Seedling and South Propagation" forest seedling demonstration base of the Chinese Academy of Forestry for more than 20 consecutive years. They have conducted research on tissue culture techniques for Monochasma salvatieri, paulownia, eucalyptus, and others, breaking through the fast propagation and container seedling cultivation techniques of Monochasma salvatieri. They have solved the problem of factory cultivation of virus-free paulownia tissue culture seedlings, established corresponding technical systems and promotion and application demonstration bases, and cultivated a total of 12.6 million seedlings.
Prof. Zeng Mansheng continuously carry out scientific research, with a focus on participating in 12 scientific research projects. Including 7 national and provincial level projects such as "Production and Application Technology of Forestry Bacterial Fertilizer". He committed to promoting the transformation of achievements and achieving significant results in technology promotion. One is to actively promote the transformation of achievements such as microbial fertilizers in Jiangxi.
Prof. Zeng Mansheng has a long-term cooperation with the Forestry Institute to promote the application of efficient and multifunctional microbial agents in afforestation in Jiangxi Province. As the team leader, he has organized more than 10 technical training sessions and trained more than 2000 forest farmers; The second is to promote afforestation techniques for major tree species such as Camellia oleifera. For the first time, the use of lightweight non-woven fabric container seedling cultivation technology has solved the key technical bottleneck of Camellia oleifera container seedlings; Guided the construction of the first batch of Camellia oleifera science and technology parks in Jiangxi Province, with a construction area of 7580 acres; The use of Changlin series of high-quality Camellia oleifera varieties for precision fertilization, land preparation, afforestation, etc. has increased Camellia oleifera production by 86%, promoted 49000 acres, generated economic benefits of 98 million yuan, provided employment for more than 1000 migrant workers, and accumulated income of 11 million yuan for migrant workers.
