Main work

Prof. Zhou Zhichun is the Doctoral supervisor at the Research Institute of Subtropical Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Tree Breeding Technology. Recognized as a young and middle-aged expert in Zhejiang Province with outstanding contributions and granted a special government allowance from the State Council. Engaged in long-term research on breeding and cultivation techniques for new varieties of major fast-growing and valuable tree species in the southern regions, including Pinus massonianaSchima superba and Cyclobalanopsis spp. Led numerous National Key Research and Development Program, achieving numerous State and Provincial Science and Technology Awards. Published over 150 papers in core journals, authored 6 monographs, established 7 industry and provincial standards in forestry, bred 14 elite tree varieties, and supervised the training of over 30 master's and doctoral students.
