Prof. Zhao Han, Ph.D., Researcher, Engaged in the collection and preservation of germplasm resources of apricot and almond, identification and evaluation, and new varieties breeding. Has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects, and identified and evaluated more than 60 excellent germplasm of apricot and almond. Based on the systematic combing and characteristic observation of domestic almond variety resources, established the new varieties testing technical standards for almond (Guidelines for the Conduct of Tests for Distinctness, Uniformity and Stability (DUS), provided an important basis for testing and authorized protection of new varieties of almond).
