Prof. Cheng Wang is a Professor, Chief Scientist, and Executive Deputy Director of Urban Forest Research Center of State Forestry Administration, P.R. China. He is mainly engaged in urban forest planning, urban forest biodiversity and urban forest ecosystem services. He has hosted a number of national urban forestry research programs and presided over the completion of the national forest city construction master plan for 50 cities in China. Prof. Wang has published more than 200 papers and 2 books including "Afforestation in Beijing Plain Area: Strategies, Practices and Assessments" and "Urban Phytogenic Pollution: Sources, Processes and Controls". He is now playing a leading role in promoting state-of-the-art urban forest research as well as forest city practices in China.
