Main work
Prof. Wang Kui mainly engaged in the basic application and engineering research of thermochemical conversion of forest biomass. In order to solve the problems during the uncontrollable traditional thermochemical liquefaction process with complex product components which is difficult to valorized, He conducted innovative basic theories and key technologies of directed liquefaction of lignocellulosic biomass. Presided over the construction of a pilot line of directed liquefaction of wood fiber of 1,000 tons, and guided the industrialization demonstration in Inner Mongolia, Henan, Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
Prof. Wang Kui has presided over 5 national level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Project and National Key R&D Program Project. In the past five years, he has published 35 SCI indexed papers, authorized 3 international patents and 5 national invention patents. On the basis of the above research, he presided over three provincial and ministerial awards such as the China Forest and Grass Youth Science and Technology Award, the Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, and was selected as the candidates for the Talents Project, National Forest and grass Science and Technology Innovation Youth Talent Program and Jiangsu Province 333 high-level talent training Project.
