Main work

Prof. Wu Ming mainly studies on monitoring and ecological restoration of coastal wetlands, as well as regional effects and sustainable utilization of urban wetlands. He is committed to researching wetland protection and restoration technologies in the context of rapid urbanization. He has successively presided over more than 30 projects, including national key scientific and technological research projects, sub projects of national key research and development projects, and major cooperation projects between provincial and academic institutions. He has published more than 100 academic papers, 5 monographs, and won the provincial and ministerial candidates of the national "Hundred and Ten Thousand Talents Project", and exemplary individual in agricultural science and technology in Zhejiang Province. The "Monitoring and Ecological Restoration of Typical Wetland Resources in Hangzhou Bay" and "Research on Resource Management and Operation Models of National Wetland Parks" won the second and third prizes in Zhejiang Province's Science and Technology Award (ranked first), respectively, providing important technical support for the restoration of coastal wetlands and sustainable utilization of urban wetlands in China.
