Main work

Prof. Xu Daping has studied Aquilaria sinensis (Lour.), Dalbergia odorifera T. and Santalum album L. for about 30 years. About 100 super clones of the above species have been selected, heartwood production of these clones are 2-10 times of the average. Heartwood production can also be increased by cultivation technique, such as water supply control and plant hormone regulators.
