Main work

Prof. Liu Shicai, Male, born in May 1965, Researcher, Master supervisor. Main research fields are biomass energy as well as preparation and application technological development of activated carbon. He undertook many national and provincial scientific research projects, such as "948", "863", "Spark program", "National key" and "State science and technology support". Other research projects were finished including "Utilizing technological demonstration of sawdust bar briquette charcoal and tar", "Technological development of refinement and utilizing of activated carbon", "Processing technology importation of Activated carbon purified hydrogen pressure swing adsorption", "Study of special activated carbon produced from bamboo", "Study on comprehensive utilization technology of residue from cellulose waste acid hydrolysis", "Technology research of biomass catalytic gasification", "Technology developing research of bar briquette", "Technology research of Catalytic gasification with rich oxygen" and "Upgrading project of multi-function rotary kiln system". He has published more than ten research papers and articles and authorized over ten patents. He has been awarded many prizes, such as the Second Prize in National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the first Prize in Science and Technology Progress Prize of Chinese Academy of Forestry, the Second Prize in Jiang Su Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third Prize in the Forestry Science and Technology Prize of Liang Xi.
