Main work

Kong Zhenwu, Research professor, Ph. D., doctoral supervisor, the executive director of China Synthetic Resin Association (CSRA) and administrative vice director of Epoxy Resin Branch of CSRA. His research interests are chemical utilization of bio-resources, biomass based thermosetting resins, waterborne polymers and functional materials. He has hosted and participated in over 30 national and provincial programs. More than 140 academic papers have been published in domestic and international academic journals, 33 papers of which are cited by SCI; 44 national invention patents have been applied, 26 patents of which are authorized. Some of the technological achievements have been promoted and achieved good social and economic benefits. He has won the third award of Science and Technology Progress of Jiangsu Province in 2006, the first award of Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology in 2007, and the second award of National Science and Technology Progress of China in 2008.
