Main work
Ms. Jingpin Lei, as a Professor, Chief Scientist of Research Institute of Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry (Ph.D of Forest Ecology and Sustainable Forest Management), is actively involved in the regional and sub-regional process. She is one of member of the Advisory Group, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) the Global Forest Resources Assessments (FRA), Liaison Officer of Montreal Process (Criteria and Indicators for Conservation and Sustainable Forest Management of Temperate and Boreal Forests ), and Chinese TAC member of the Technical advisory Committee of Montreal Process. Regarding the UNFF related topics. She was appointed as expert of Country-level pilot sites for the implementation of UNFI United Nations Forest Instrument (UNFI) since 2020. As one of the leading scientists, she compiled the National Report of Sustainable Forest Management based on the C&I framework, Assessment of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Sustainable Forest Management in China.
