Main work

Prof. Li Jinhua is mainly engaged in the research fields of tree targeted breeding and improvement and presides over their research and practice of national key programs. She insists on the practice and research on breeding and cultivation of poplar and olive. She is actively involved in genetic improvement, production physiology, oriented evaluation and cultivation of poplar, and germplasm resource evaluation, domestication and breeding, and productive cultivation of olive. Her completed works have won two awards of national and provincial and ministerial for new poplar excellent cultivars of high-yield industrial plantation. She has been obtained five national tree improved variety certificates, recognized two achievements, transferred one achievement, formulated one industry standard. She works in the important domestic professional core journals of forestry and horticulture, and published six dozen of academic papers in domestic and foreign journals and three academic monographs.
