Main work

Built a wind tunnel experiment platform and created a research method for seed wind propagation process. A number of innovative results were obtained, deepening people's understanding of seed wind propagation process. Researched and built the "environmental wind tunnel adaptable to field undulating terrain", "vertical circulation wind tunnel" and "Hanging tractor power field wind tunnel". In collaboration with the Institute of Applied Ecology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shenyang, five doctoral students and six master's students have used these wind tunnels to study the wind propagation process of seeds. The results have been published in top   international academic journals such as Journal of Experimental Botany, Land Degradation and Development, Plant and Soil. Wind tunnel research and development technology has been granted 1 invention patent and 3 utility model patents. In this area, 5 communications and first-author papers have been published, and based on these research achievements, I have been granted 1 National Natural Science Foundation General Program project.

The research and construction of the rainfall enhancement experimental platform has laid a solid foundation for the study of climate change in desertification areas. Using five independent patented technologies, the desert ecosystem rainfall change response observation platform has been established, the core technology of constant pressure metering water supply has been solved, the means of climate change simulation research has been expanded, and collaborative research has been carried out. Relying on this platform, 7 projects such as industry special projects have been approved in cooperation with Desertification Institute, and 2 post-doctoral students, 7 doctoral students and 2 master students have been trained. 8 papers have been published as corresponding author or first author.
