Main work

Prof. Ge Xiaogai is the master's supervisor at the Institute of Subtropical Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry. Her research interests include drought-driven forest tree mortality mechanism and carbon source sensitivity of biochar-root interactions. She has presided National Natural Science Foundation, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Non–profit Research Institution, and public welfare projects of Zhejiang Province and so on. She has published 28 papers in Science of The Total Environment, Applied Soil Ecology, Journal of Plant Ecology, Journal of Ecology and other journals as the first/corresponding author. In addition, she has published one monograph, co-edited two monographs, and recognised two achievements. She is a reviewer for Forest Ecology and Management, Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, Frontiers in Plant Science and Journal of Ecology and Environment.

Key research projects
