Prof. Gu Yong, male, born in 1964.03, researcher, master supervisor, expert in integrated management of rocky desertification and cultivation of energy plants, Chinese Academy of Forestry, model individual of national unity and Progress under the State Council, winner of the most beautiful national forest grass science and technology promotion member. He is now working in the Institute of Highland Forest Science, CAF, and has presided over many national and provincial-level projects. He has published over 50 papers as the first or corresponding author, among which 25 papers have been published in the core journals at home and abroad. He has published 2 monographs, and "Chinese Pueraria wallichii DC" has won the first prize of Excellent Science and Technology books in Western China. Promulgate a forestry industry standard. He has won one second-class award and four third-class awards for the scientific and technological progress of Yunnan Province. His large-scale engineering afforestation technology of native tree species, irregular mixing, and rational allocation mode of multi-tree species have achieved remarkable results. The key techniques and difficulties of "Red prevention", "Pearl Prevention" and rocky desertification control in karst areas were solved. An excellent cultivar of Jatropha curcas was bred, which formed a technical system of intensive management of low yield and low benefit forest.
