Main work

Engaged in researches on genetic breeding and cultivation technology on valuable tree species mainly on Tectona grandis, Aquilaria sinensis, Hopea hainanensisi, et al. for more than 20 years. Presided and participated in more than 30 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Forestry Industry Standardization projects, Extension and Demonstration of forestry achievements, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan projects, Guangdong Forestry Bureau, and basic special projects of central public welfare scientific research institutes. He has published more than 100 academic papers, among them SCI more than 10 papers, authorized 1 international invention patent and 10 national invention patents, won 8 scientific and technological achievements, participated in the compilation of 4 books and formulated 2 industry standards, 1 national teak variety, 1 first prize and 1 second prize of Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology, 1 second prize of Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion, and 1 first prize of Nanyue Forestry Science and Technology.
