Main work
Since obtaining the title of researcher in 2003, Prof. Jia Baoquan presided over 8 projects, such as special major research projects of forestry public welfare industry and national major science and technology support projects. The total cost of the project reached 10.125 million yuan. As a major member, He participated in 66 local government projects, that including national forest city master planning and national forest city assessment. There are 52 papers have been published, in which 10 excellent journals, 5 SCI papers, 6 EI papers, 31 CSCD papers are included. And 2 monographs were published. At present, he is the vice chairman of the Urban Forest Branch of the Chinese Society of Forestry, the secretary-general of the National Innovation Alliance of Urban Forests, the deputy editor of the journal of China Urban Forestry, and the editorial board of the journals of Arid Land Geography (CSCD) and Arid Land Research (CSCD). He is currently the chief expert on urban landscape ecology of the Institute of Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, and a member of the National Forest City Expert Group. He has been engaged in the research of urban forest landscape ecology and urban forest landscape planning for a long time. The main research areas include the following three aspects: forest canopy cover and ecological service function, urban forest composition and structure, and ecological land pattern and stability.
Key research projects
Research on multi-scale spatial pattern optimization technology of beautiful urban and rural landscape, 2014-2019;
Spatial-temporal dynamics and driving forces of urban forest in central Beijing based on tree canopy cover, 2015-2017.
