On the basis of the project supported by the national key research and development program of the ministry of science and technology of China, the effects of forest managements on the soil carbon dynamic, biomass of fine roots, soil enzymatic activities in Pinus massoniana plantations were studied. It provides scientific theoretical basis for improving local plantation productivity and maintaining long-term soil fertility.
Under the background of nitrogen deposition, the effect mechanism of ectomycorrhizal fungi on the growth of seedlings and nitrogen addition on nitrogen cycle in Pinus massoniana plantation were studied to provide theoretical basis for further improving the plantation productivity.
The forest soil information in central China was carried out and a set of forest soil atlas was published.
Combined with the ecological protection strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the ecological protection technology integration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been completed.
The vegetation classification system of the Three Gorges reservoir area was established for the first time, and the vegetation in the reservoir area was systematically investigated and classified, which provided a scientific basis for biodiversity protection.
