Prof. Fu Dali had presided 9 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, won 1 second prize of Henan province science and technology progress award, formulated 1 national forestry industry standard, published 48 academic papers as first or independent author, published 2 monographs as lead editor or co-editor in chief, published 1 new kingdom, 13 new divisions of organisms, 2 new classes and 2 new subclasses of fruit plants, 1 new section of genus Yulania Spach as nomenclators, and discovered and published 15 new species of Magnoliaceae Juss., Amygdalaceae Marquis and Paulowniaceae Nakai.
