Main work

Prof. Fu Feng has been engaged in basic research and product development of functionalization of wood materials. In recent years, he has developed the key technology in microwave puffed wood, and developed a series of functional wood products based on microwave puffed wood. Microwave puffed wood and its preparation technology were selected as the scientific achievements and advanced application technology by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration in 2019 and 2020, which provided a new way for the solid wood utilization of plantation wood. Through collaboration with competitive colleges and leading enterprises, his research has been mostly carrying out original innovation and technology integration. He won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2004-J-202-2-01-R05) and the first prize of Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Award (2011-KJ-1-02-R03). Until now, he has already trained 20 postgraduates and 8 post-doctors. And he also published 6 books and more than 90 papers, granted 12 invention patents.
