Main work

Prof. Zhang Jianguo is mainly engaged in the research of Chinese fir high generation breeding and directional cultivation, seabuckthorn genetic improvement and high-yield cultivation, olive genetic breeding and high-yield cultivation, forest seedling technology, difficult site afforestation technology and other directions. More than 100 SIC papers have been published, 12 invention patents have been authorized, and 18 varieties have been approved by the State. He has published more than 20 research monographs in Science Press and China Forestry Press. The "Chinese fir genetic breeding cultivation technology" and "New technology of forest seedling cultivation" presided over won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2006 and 2012 respectively. "Research on genetic and breeding and Efficient Cultivation Technology of Chinese fir" won the 2018 Liangxi Science and Technology Progress First Prize, "Genetic Improvement and Industrial cultivation Technology Innovation of Sea Buckthorn" and "Research and Application of Key Technologies for genetic Breeding and Industrial Development of Sea buckthorn" won the 2022 Liangxi Science and Technology Progress First Prize and Xinjiang Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress First Prize respectively.
