Main work

Prof. Gan Siming's work focuses on genetics and molecular breeding of tropical fast-growing trees such as Eucalyptus species. Around 20 research and development projects have been funded from local and higher governments and other agencies.

A total of 105 scientific papers have been published, among which 35 are published in SCI journals. Five national invention patents of China, one provincial elite eucalypt variety and five new eucalypt varieties have been authorized.
